Ok, haha, you got me, very funny. I just thought being from Wyoming you didn't know your left from your right! I'm sorry, just kidding. Actually, I was out your way this past summer. I drove my new Harley from Ohio to Sturgis. (3500 miles roundtrip) we took a day ride over to Sundance and up to devil's tower. Very nice area, really enjoyed riding thru the Black Hills area.
By the way my Harley doesn't even have a steering wheel, but it has one handlebar on the right and one on the left & they both work.....cj

Ha! Yep, most of us know left from right. I don't ride motorcycles, too hard to read the newspaper and mix cocktails on them while traveling

My new 825i. Finally got some snow to test out the Snowsport blade and it worked great! Couldn't justify the cost of the factory cab, so did a soft cab. Have the factory cab heater in it. Probably could have saved a few bucks there also, but it is a great heater.

I think the Gator 825 has the the best balance of use compared to other machines and is underrated by most people. It's not perfect for all uses but is more than capable is most everything. It's weakes leink is the cvt when the belt gets wet it slips easy and on some model years (like mine) if the belt gets hot it gets hard to shift. Later models have tried to address these problems but it still seems to be the weak link.
Having said that, I would not trade mine for something differnt.

Came across an idea lately in reading some other stuff that seems to be interesting. Many claim the RPM engagement of the CVT clutch is too high on the 825i. I would tend to agree a little, depending on what one was doing. They took the clutch from the diesel version, which engages at a lower RPM, and put it on the 825i gasser. Direct fit. Clutch now engages at around 1200 RPM instead of on up the ladder. Seems like an idea worth pursuing in the future. Right now, I am ok with the stock setup of my 825i gasser, but when it comes time for a belt, clutch, or similar, I am seriously looking at going with a diesel clutch. In reading the stuff, they said that also they were getting a couple of more mph out of the top end. That is not my main concern.

Congrats on the new Gator! We've had our 620i for almost a year now and are very happy with it. These are great machines.
