Kolpin UTV Cabs

I use my Kawasaki Mule 4010 almost exclusively for snow & ice control and it work extremely well on my steep 200'.
After two seasons of plowing and salting I got tired of getting cold and wet. A cab was the solution and I was set on the Kawasaki cab by Curtis, that was until I priced it and saw one in the flesh. It really left a lot to be desired IMHO. After looking for almost a year I decided on the Kolpin UTV cab and I'm really impressed by the quality of the cab(this instructions leave a lot to be desired though). It took about 2 hrs to install and my dealer screwed up the order and forgot the wiper kit.
It should arive in the next week or two and I'll update when it's installed. So for anyone wanting an after market cab I'd recommend the Kolpin offering without hesitation. I'm into this one for just under $4k.

I did not order a heater as I really only need to stay dry and I found myself salting in sleet/rain mix often.
Here are a few pics of the installed cab, the doors are the nicest I've seen on a utv. I can't wait to try it out in winters worst!

Thanks, it's also got a Highlifter lift kit and Kenda Bear Claw radials(on ITP steel wheels) which were well worth the price.
She'll move some snow!

The Plow is a Boss UTV plow, there are specific mounts for most popular utv's available. It mounts like a standard truck plow with 2 pins per side. It's extremly easy to mount and dismount.

How do you like the plow? What do they run new price wise? I looked but couldn't find much information?

It work's very well, they are spendy though. I believe I paid around $3200 with the smart hitch 2 and extra lights. But I've plowed 26" of snow with it in the vee mode with no issue.

Nice! I went to the boss website and requested a quote. Their MSRP came back over $4000 so I guess I'll be saving for quite a while lol! Just keep using the skid steer for now.

Boss is certainly proud of their products, but I guarantee if you see the boss utv plow next to any of the other plows marketed for utv/atv's it'll make sense real quick. I looked hard at the Blizzard utv blade and I'd say it's similar in quality and construction but not offered in a vee.
