Mahindra 4550 4wd
First post and already trying to pick brains.

Looking for info on 2015 Mahindra 4550 4WD with FEL Pros Cons Good Bad.

I have looked at the specs on Mahindras site.

So far the best price I can find $23450 out the door cash. With free pickup and delivery for the first 2 services.

Is this a fair price good or bad.

Any thing else compatible or recommended

Will be bush hogging about 25 acres 2 times a year and keeping my 1/2 mile road in shape
Just looking basic no frills tractor

Thanks in advance for any help and info.

I have a 4540 4x4 w/ FEL--I love it. The price you are quoted, in my opinion is outstanding. I would jump all over it.

First Post here, too...
I just got a 4550 and have put about 20+ hrs on it so far.
Pros- its a beast for its size. Plenty of power. Simple design and easy to operate. Tier IV with no DPF and no DEF. Handled a 6 ft bush hog easily, and the box blade graded driveway no problem. I also got the Backhoe and I am very very happy with it, ripping out stumps with ease.
Cons - you already know: no shuttle. Only 8x2 transmission. Low hydr pump output. High access to fuel tank. Cheesy Mahindra paint, especially on lift arms and frame.
No regrets yet on passing on the slightly more expensive MF 2700e
The quoted price seems very reasonable.

Shuttles, especially the electro hrdraulic ones are sure sweet, even the mechanical 8 x 8 shuttle of the Max is way better than my old Kubota's 6 x 2 gear. I have no use for 2 speed Hydro, 3 speeds are ok, but the new big 3 X2 hydros in kubotas are the best.
