Some wood gettin' over the past 2 weekends. The mud has been horrible... just a mess. I wish I could wait until it froze, and I thought it would be by now here in NY, but no sight of that yet.

I took the WP830 "splitter plus" back home last weekend because the logs were getting too muddy. Instead I have been cutting up tops and filling up the bucket. When I get enough logs on the trailer it'll get hauled home to process there.

That is about what it is like here. My tractor probably won't leave the concrete of my wood lot until summer.

Have to admit I'm a little envious of the pics with clean tires and dry ground ;)
...and we have rain forecast for all day today and 1/2 of tomorrow :(

Now that's an understatement!
Nice equipment lineup, either your a Wallenstein dealer, or your dealer loves you! That trailer is sweet!
At least it look's like there is a "bottom" to those mud holes, but what a mess.

Ha! Yeah, not a dealer, and I'm sure the dealer loves it every time I email him for pricing!

Those type conditions makes twice the work.
Some back dragging main runs wait until ground tighten up...maybe second weekend Jan 2016 by the looks of long range.

How do you like your 3pt. grapple? Being cheap, I built one (roughly) off their idea, only I added a hyd. winch to it. Of course I'm prolly up at around $5k in steel & components, hose and valves now, not including my time. I don't have a ton of use on it yet, but every time I do, it reinforces my original thinking that it's what I wanted for my property & firewood making.
