Guys, Santa dropped off a brand new L3301 with a LA525 loader this week for me! I did get the quick attach bracket add on for the bucket.

I've been researching the past posts about things I want to do but would like some "been there done that advice" if possible.

I'd like to make some modifications right off the bat to use it for my place.

I want to buy (recommendations?) a Grapple to move rocks and brush and a PTO cement mixer with hydraulic tilt so I'll need to add hydraulics front and rear.
I was wanting to get the add on grapple for my bucket but the actual complete grapple bucket seems more rugged.

I will be moving and placing rocks around 3-500 lbs. I like to build stone fences and retaining walls. Main reason for wanting this thing. Rocks are getting heavier since I passed 50.
Cutting and carrying firewood but only a couple cords a year.
Moving lumber and "stuff" around for my projects.
Dragging trailer around the place or out of the way.
Brush hog an access road in the woods behind my house.
Dig trenches for water lines, footings etc occasionally.
Drink beer and ride around surveying the kingdom.

As I want to be able to use both ends though not at same time. Should I ....

Get a diverter valve for the front and rear remotes for the rear? (planning ahead for a top link and tilt per the forum here)
Or just a diverter valve OR just the rear remotes and run a line forward for the grapple?

I'd really like a bolt on kit(s) if possible with near everything included. I'm mechanically and electrically able with welding exp but don't get a lot of time at home due to working out on the road a lot so want to get this where I can enjoy using it pretty quick.
Yeah, I know "Fast, Cheap, or Easy. I will only get to pick two of the three."

Thanks in advance for the tips, tricks, and comments.

All depends on what and how you want to do things. Not much time, go all Kubota. Have some time and want as good or better products for less money, go 3rd party products. The big plus to the Kubota rear remote valves is that they are integrated with the machine. Bad thing is that they are costly and are not of the best quality as of late. Or so I have been told by both customers and Kubota dealers.

With the type of loader control that the std L models have, a diverter can really only be used with the lift circuit. Typically they are used with the curl circuit, but that does not work with the valve that you have. You may be best off with a true 3rd function valve with what you have to work with. Something only you can decide on.

Lots of other decisions to make, good luck. ;)

Thanks Brian.
I have ordered the ultimate diverter kit from Ken's bolt ons. Per your post, it won't work properly for the EA compact grapple in the Curl function?

Can I use it possibly by connecting it to the power beyond ports?

Thanks and I plan on contacting you for the Rear remote setup with your top and tilt kit after the Xmas sting wears off a little.

For everyone's information. I did price the single remote kit from Kubota for my L3301. At first they quoted 980 bucks. I balked at that and then was quoted 787. I turned it down based on the premise Brian brought up that the parts may not be that high of quality.

Lenny, just use the lift circuit and you will be fine, but no it will not work properly with the curl circuit. And diverter valves are not designed to be used with power beyond as the fluid source.

Fill out the contact page and get a quote for what you want for the 3pt. 3 valves and a top & tilt set. At least then you will know what you will be looking at for a cost.

If you don't want to scratch the rocks pallet forks work better. A set of pallet forks is cheap and extremely useful. Also pallet forks work better for rocks nearing the lift capacity of the loader. Don't take that as a knock for the grapple because It's not. I love my grapple. It stays on the tractor 90% maybe 95% of the time.

That's the next toy I want to get. With a tractor the week before last, a 3point receiver hitch and cargo carrier last week, Ken's bolt ons hooks & a diverter valve this week along with ordering a EA grapple. I am starting to receive the Look from dearly beloved!

After thinking about it, I understand not using the power beyond circuit. That would leave no flow control with only an ON or OFF function as the solenoid was energized/Deenergized.
Shoulda caught that.
Thanks

Does anyone have photos of where/how to mount the diverter valve block on a Kubota 3200/3300 series?
Thanks,
Lenny
