I am getting ready to order a hydraulic top link from fitritehydraulics. Problem is my tractor is in TN and I am in PA and I need to know the length of the top link.
2014 DK40SE HST, anyone have one that could measure the top link min-max for me?

21 1/4"- 31 1/4" is what Brian @ Fitrite thinks it should be, but would like to be sure, I can order and change the length before it is built but not sure when I will get down there again to measure.

Thanks!

Brian has made the same link for me so I'm sure he knows what length to make.

Brian has made the same link for me so I'm sure he knows what length to make.

Actually he said it depended on the year of tractor
His quote to me in an email
"A cat 1 top link with a working length of 21 1/4"- 31 1/4" with the
hydraulic ports on the side. $275

The working length will vary depending on what year your tractor was built.
Kioti switched sizes in there some where.
We can change this at pretty much anytime before it gets built without any additional charges."

So there is some question on length based on year that is why I included my year on the tractor.

Hmmmm......looking at the paper work it says the SN is MT6500152, does that sound like the right format?

I believe that the change was made some where in 2013-2014. With it being an older model, let's go with 20 1/4"- 29 1/4". If that is not what works well for you, I will exchange it, no charge to you. You are not using Pats QH are you? That changes things big time.

Let me know

If his is truly a code M it is a 2012 model Brian. His should be the same as mine .

Yes, sorry I typed 2014 in the OP, but meant 2013. Is the code for the build year or model year? Like 2016 cars are actaully built in 2015
More interested in this given the dealer sold it to me as a 2013.

As far as parts, you have to go by the build year, your case "M" - 2012, and sometimes parts may change within that year. So the full serial number is sometimes required.

Tractors are different than cars. The year that they are built in is what it is. I believe your dealer got you on that one. I had bought a CK30hst 2004 build year tractor in April 2005. It was brand new but still a 2004.
