Looking for an automatic battery charger without breaking the bank

I have owned a battery tender jr. for years that I moved around to various equip I use in cold weather. Just got one of these Battery Tender 022-0185G-DL-WH Plus Battery Charger/Maintainer 12V @ 1.25A [BT-Plus] - $49.99
and hooked up a pigtail to my new tractor to make sure it fires up to move snow.

There is a charging bench in my garage that that off season batteries stay on and the charger just rotates from one to the next. Find they live a lot longer when you keep them charged up. Some things that I use in cooler weather get leads like this Battery Tender Harness | 350-110 | J&P Cycles
find them handy for hooking up heated gear to as well. Hope to stay comfy on my open station tractor blowing snow with my heated vest I use on the bike.

Yep, thats how I do it with the noco, the snowmobile batteries rotate out to tahe lawn tractor and bikes for winter in my garage.

I have 6 of these: BatteryMINDer 1500 | 12 Volt Maintenance Charger Desulfator If you shop around I've seen them for as low as $35. 1.5A might seem low, but given a couple of days it will charge a automotive sized battery.

I have owned a battery tender jr. for years

I have 3 of the Battery Tenders you linked and 1 Junior. One dedicated to the tractor, one dedicated to a built Jeep, and one that floats around. The Junior is on the Zero Turn. I have a Quick Connect harness on most of the vehicles mounted outside. Makes it simple and quick to connect and disconnect. Can't beat the price.

I have used several brands of battery maintainers including the Battery Tender all good. But I recently purchased 4 of the Yuasa brand 1amp charger/maintainer from Amazon for $30 each. After a little research on these units I thought this were better and more advanced then the Battery Tenders units I have used in the past. Only time will tell.

I have Schummacher model SE 1275a that I purchased in November of 09. It is a 2-12-75 amp machine and it has served me well. I bought it for sixty bucks then. Worth every penny.

In Costco today and saw a new one...

Looks like the difference is 1.25amp vs. 3amp for the new one. Both maintainers. The new one is sleeker and half the weight if that matters. I am sort of old school with the bench mounting but the new one suits 'in line' installation and it's a few bucks less.

Says it is waterproof and cycles between 80% and charged...

Price is good...

I had one of my other charger out hooked up to the truck semi protected and it rained... the label started to come off.

Don't own any waterproof/resistant chargers yet.
