Rogers is on the outer fringe of the 694/494 loop as 94 heads off to the NW. It's maybe 5 miles from where 94 branches off, and is a central location for people heading up to "lake country". That store's done very well for them too as Owatonna's a bit of a hike for North Metro folks.

I found your answer interesting... I've spent weeks at a time in the Alaskan bush, hunting moose, big bears, caribou and even Dall sheep, living out of a 3 man tent on the Alaska Peninsula, Kodiak island and islands around it, also other temperate rain forest area's... Some times by my self, even in the winter...

I'm just wondering, does any of those hunts sound "extreme" to you?

And to think, I never have owned "the best clothing in the world"! But I stayed warn and dry and had a GREAT time...

I also have some custom guns, including from Krieghoff and NULA, but my brown bear rifle to crawl through the alders with, is a Remington 700! (yes i've harvested brown bears with it) It's put plenty of moose, deer, caribou and other big game in my freezer, so I guess I screwed up with THAT choice too! lol

Well, I DID use "custom" reloaded ammo that I loaded myself and in some cases, I also used "custom" bonded core bullets, that I also swaged myself... SO, perhaps I did some things right... (in your eyes)

Wow, it must be awesome to be you! Custom guns, EXTREME hunting, UNobtanium clothing no one else can afford, WOW! Us average, shop at Cabela's folks, or worse yet Wally World buyers, can't imagine what it must be like to live in the life and death realm hunting the extreme (Bigfoot?) wildebeest.
And a black Cabela's card, oh, awesome- with a HUGE limit, (overcompensation benefit, I presume?) but you never use it, wish I were you....

I still think the TYM's that Cabelas rebadged and applied camo contact paper to are fugly.

I believe Cabela's largest store is in Hamburg, Pennsylvania 250,000 square feet from what I understand. I was in there once it was very impressive. The one in Rogers MN is 185,000 square feet.

Wow, this is such a surprise outcome! :stirthepot: Yeah, I know I gave their tractor marketing guy a hard time in that big thread last year, but this is how most of us saw things ending. They're still sitting on 2014 models and I just got a postcard last week about special deals. It's too bad about Woods though. If they were pulling out completely, this could've been a sweet time to run on the implements.

Where are the 2014's. I really like them. They have the nice CAT/Perkins engine in them. The 43, 50 and 72 hp ones that is.
