Greetings Oldoak,

I'm not sure about who you refer to about "heated tempers", but I agree with that. As far as having "sympathy" for those directly effected - that is - I would think, a reaction any of us tractor owners would have.

But just having sympathy, doesn't make their lives any better or easier. And while "going legal" can make their situation much better. . . . Too many people charge into "going legal" without being prepared or doing other things first that can be just as effective and also less costly. But it all starts with having better knowledge of the situation and the points I made in a prior post on how to get that knowledge.

"Having sympathy" for others is not a cure. It can turn into a motivation, but that isn't enough to make a difference in its own.
Apparentley you didn't comprehend my comments or what dis-satisfied owners of Cabelas branded tractors had to say.

I did point out "As far as legal action is concerned, that will take money and time, and even in a class action suit, I have never heard of case where the plaintiffs came out ahead even when they won."

Many actual owners have already commented that they have went through the proper channels and have exhausted all the avenues without success to getting their tractor problems resolved. The only alternative for them may be legal action as some of them are contemplating.

No did I even indicate "Having sympathy" for others was in any way a cure.

For some reason you appear to be pushing your own agenda twisting and contradicting what others have to say without really listening.

Oh well, what ever..........................

The one thing that I can say about "legal action" is that it is rarely required if one finds the right target in the company with which you have an issue. For BP/Cabela's, that may be simply speaking to someone in their legal department, to ask who now owns the responsibility for the warranty on tractors. Because somebody does own that.

CincyFlyer,

That is exactly my point as well. Some believe going to a local manager is "doing the effort" - and they fail to understand that knowledge is power. First a claimant has to have knowledge - and then they have to get that knowledge to people at the company that make a difference. But it all starts with knowledge of the problem.
As I've posted in some prior posts - rarely is so much knowledge potentially readily available to find - because if they look thru just 4 or 5 threads - they can find dozens and dozens of buyers and then private message them to ACTUALLY find out who has a problem instead of just 3 or so scattered across the country who individually are only talking to local managers or sales people.

As I stated prior and you then stated quite eloquently - legal action is something done when all the rest of the efforts are exhausted - and I haven't read a single post on any of the threads I've looked at - that show an exhaustion of efforts.

And I'm stunned that no one who has a problem has even contacted the consultant who worked for Cabelas on the tractor situation even though he posted several times on threads.

I can't say in my life that every battle I fought was resolved without legal action - but certainly most of them were. But the only ones who can do it - are the ones directly effected. And if they aren't willing to see the opportunities and take the efforts - others can't do it for them. (Fledging)

Meanwhile it seems a number of posters want to claim without any logic - that I'm some bad guy and have an agenda of negative. If they only read better and judged less they'd see there is wisdom in my posts on this subject - just as there is wisdom in what you and daugen wrote.

I never said it was an issue for you, I'm only stating the concerns of anyone buying a tractor without a lot of infrastructure
to back it up.
Kioti and Daedong have been around a long time here.

I think some of you folks like to argue too much.
goodbye
