Hey there all you winter warriors! I have a 2001 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4WD atv, and am looking to mount a plow to clear my driveway of mostly light snow. FOr the big stuff, I have my 70HP New Holland, but prefer not to have to bring that out for the 2-4" stuff that just gets packed down and turns to ice.

SO looking for recommendation. I searched craigslist, but nothing out there at this time of season that isn't already attached to a machine. If I have to go new, I want to keep it cheap, but would like to have the angle adjustments, not a straight plow.

Drive is about 120' long.

Any recommendations as to a reasonably priced ATV plow that fits my machine?

Thanks and happy snow clearing!

Moose makes a nice ATV snow plow.Maybe about $500 new.

Just remember to factor in the costs of the winch required to operate most of these plows

Moose country plow is my choice! Does a fabulous job!

Cycle Country is another;I used a manual lift for years with no problem but put a winch set-up on my buddies machine. You will be surprised how much an ATV/SxS will push.

I too have a Moose plow and I also like it. Mine is the "County" version. At first I didn't like that I couldn't roll snow left but I learned to appreciate the taller plow.

In the case of a regular 4 wheeler, manual lift is MUCH faster. Of course someone with shoulder issues would want a winch, but that’s the only scenario where I think it would be the better choice.

I have a 60" Moose on my Honda Foreman 450. It is very well made! If you plow deep snow I recommend a 55" for your size machine.

Here's a couple videos of me plowing.

Let me know if you have any questions. ATVs are great plowing machine for snow.
