Piston might not be your master, but he is right. We have beaten this dead horse quite enough. If you want to continue beating a dead horse there are other threads you can do that in. No need to trash up a good thread.

You should watch the video and consider my remarks too. It doesn't have a single thing to do with which is better or worse.

From now on when the single lid vs dual lid debate comes up I'm posting this pic.

The video posted by 94bullet? That looks like a terrible tractor grapple. That would be way better suited for an excavator. And if our double lid grapples cost lift capacity, that thing is far worse. A knuckle boom loader could have moved that pile of logs in about 45 seconds.

There are better designs for smaller machines. That was the only video I could find at the time. There is a guy on another forum that has one he uses on a toolcat.

Piston's not my boss either, but he is the OP and I will honor his request for pictures and stay on point.

I am really digging back years to come up with what I can, just not taking the time much anymore to get off the tractor and snap a pic. This grapple turned out to be an irrigation pipe hauler in a pinch. Almost forgot about using it for that. The rear downriggers stabilized the other end of the pipes.

Man, I'd vote for ya! We're blessed to have you as a customer for the awesome Wicked Grapple pics AND the beautiful, Grapple inspired poetry. If that doesn't restore peace to this thread, I don't know what will..... Travis
Amen.

I have taken plenty of pictures from the seat.

Tom, you're now an official pipe liner. ;-)
