Three point hitch lifting problem

I have a MF 65 diesel tractor that the lift on the back is going up real slow. After it runs for awhile it goes up quicker but not as it should. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level. If low it could cause the 3 pt to rise slow. Also could need a fluid / filter change.

Fluid level ok? Is the fluid dirty?
Air in the system?

The fluid is clean and at proper level. Is it hard to change the filter.

When a filter is hard to access, it usually does not get serviced as it should. May be worth checking into? Ken Sweet

There may be an inlet screen on the hydraulic pump pickup that is restricted by sludge/debris.

I had a 135 for many years and have just about completely rebuilt it. If you check out the MF site you should find some of my posts with pictures. A 65 is not that much difference, check it out. After replacing seals, cleaning filter, and adjusting top link spring the 3 pt lift arms had lots of power and was smooth. Like new. Great tractor, I wish I still had it.
