Hey, thanks, good to know. I'm 80% going with a new truck. Called on one in Texas today, they knocked 200 bucks off the price and said that's bottom dollar. They bought it off a dealer in Kansas, wish I knew what they paid for it. 3000 miles f450 KR. Asking 64,900. Think I can do a bit better.

You may want to look at other brands that sounds really high for a used truck. I bought this 3500 C&C ram with a custom built dump bed with fold down sides and gooseneck hitch for much less and its new. Oh and I custom ordered the truck too.

I'm sure a gas F450 would be much cheaper to than the diesel one he is looking at. I see you have the Hemi.

Well that king Ranch trim level adds $15-$20k to the price over the same truck in XLT trim.

Scoutcub, do you need it to be F-450? I just bought '16 F-350 for about $14k under MSRP.

Not interested in other brands. I've got a 06 f350 Dually KR and its treated me extremely well. I work it pretty hard, pulling excavators, dozers and skid steers. If I go new, want to step up to the beefier 450 and 6.7. I'm in no rush, so will wait for the right deal on a 15 or 16.....

Yeah but you also have to factor in the custom built dump bed that close to the price of the diesel. I got the 6.4 hemi thought I'd try it out I've got other trucks with the 6.7 CTD. I don't want to list prices but I'd never pay in the 60's for a truck. I bought a 5500 CTD 4x4 and custom box body for quite a bit less than 60K. Just saying look at other brands and get the best truck for you.

The F-450 pickup only comes as a diesel 4x4 crew cab. Trim levels run from an XL to the Platinum. You can still get the V10 but only in a chassis-cab. Get the F-450 KR pickup, you won't regret it.
