My dozer dash has 3 push button switches with rubber dome covers like mower primer bulbs. START, ETHER INJECT, and HORN. Well the mice have eaten the rubber covers and I am looking to replace them w/o having to replace the entire switch. It looks like the cover is molded onto the retaining nut. Does anyone know a source for the rubber covers ??? Bond Auto has the switches but can't help on just the covers. Thank you. Here is an old pic from when I first got the tractor.

Try a good electrical supply house...If you can find one up there.

Look at Grainger or McMaster Carr if you can't find them locally.

Thanks James, that Boatersland one looks promising. I guess I didn't know what to google. Found plenty of switches but no covers er caps. Thanks again. Seems like marine supply places have good environment proof stuff but I never remember that.

Being curious, I googled "rubber push button boot" (when in doubt, go straight for it) and found plenty. Google is getting better by the minute when it comes to stuff like this. Hope you can find the correct size! You can skip Grainger, though... they want $33-$44 for theirs!? The boat place looks promising.

You are right - "rubber push button boot" works real good. The swts have a fairly standard 5/8 X 32 thread so with the help I got here finding one won't be a problem. Thanks all !!

I made my own for a push button switch on my sawmill where an actuator arm strikes it to turn on blade lubricant.
I took a plastic rod the same diameter as the button housing, oiled it, spread silicone rubber over it and let it cure. Next day I peeled it off and inserted it over the switch. That was more than a year ago and I am very pleased with it.
