It hasn't grown much at all - in fact when the trailer factories went out it imploded some. There are those in the city that seem to oppose growth (they kept Walmart out) but we keep chipping away. The stockyards is still there and just sold recently. We finally have a grocery store again. It is a rural area and we don't live in town so we are spared the small town politics. All in all a good place to live - if you don't live in town. I don't remember a veterinary on 53 (Van Dyke) but lots of the old buildings are gone including the A&W, Henry Deims John Deere dealership (north east corner of Van Dyke and Marlette Rd), the old hotel, and the theater to name a few. There are Mennonite and Amish communities in the area. If you ever get back look me up. Hart Realty on 53 across form McDonald's restaurant.

Hey Jeff, do those little caster wheels freeze up and quite turning at all, or do they work out well?
Here are a few thoughts after I did my second cleanup. The first round went well and there was about 10-12" and could plow it well, no crabbing or such. I have no chains on the machine, and after today don't think I will put them on there. I could see where it spun a lot on the tires, but a lot easier then having to chain up and mess concrete and other places I sit or place the machine.
The snow I cleaned up today was about 20" on top of the first cleanup I did, and was REAL wet, so there was no plowing to it, mainly push about a foot at a time and then just lift the plow up and raise the stacks higher.
My neighbor has a little Case with a FEL and a plow on it also, and even with all the weight on the front of his it slid all over trying to plow and had to basically just make the piles higher.
Below are a few pics (I didn't get to take any, but will give an idea of some of the snow)

I Hope I didn't get carried away with uploading the photos, but I like to see pics of what the little PT425 can do, and think others do also. :)

I have the wheels on my snow blade. They are the same wheels on the 60" mower deck and the 48" brush hog. After 15 years, just this year I'm having some sticking issues with the casters, and that's more than likely due to my lack of maintenance and leaving them outdoors this year. A quick swab of the pin and tube with bolt-buster (PBBlaster works, too), a wire brush and a good shot of grease and they are good as new. Mine came standard on the plow back in 2001. I think they may be extra now.

No, not at all, they are solid, not air filled, so I think that has a lot to do with it. The way they have them mounted on the newer blades, (unlike how it is on Mosses) you have to tilt the blade forward, as they will hit the blade if you are back dragging things, but worked pretty good. A lot better then any skids I have had on other blades. You will still hit some of the road if it has a lot of crown, or if you are doing sidewalks and the wheels are lower then it might be.

Hey Jeff, do those little caster wheels freeze up and quite turning at all, or do they work out well?
