Need some advice for adding 6th SCV to the rear of my 2015 John Deere 4066R with cab. Presently have the loader hooked up to the 2 SCV's at mid tractor. 3rd rear SCV hooked up to rear remotes with electro hydraulic thumb on loader joy stick. Then have 4th/5th rear SCV's hooked up to lever controls in cab next to pt hitch lever. All above done either from factory or dealer installed.

I am adding top n tilt that will take up 2 of the existing 3 rear SCV's. I will be adding some implements that have 2 hydraulic cylinders, thereby needing 1 more SCV.

Question is this: What is most simple efficient/cost effective way to add a 6th or "4th" rear hydraulic remote SCV. Keep in mind I have a cab tractor. Adding more levers could/can be problematic.

John Deere does have an electric 3 spool diverter, but that is like north of $2000 from the stealership for the part alone, and I only need 1 more SCV.

Thoughts.

Glen, are your 4th & 5th SCVs manual or electric?

As far as the Fasse diverter system, quick and easy if it will fit your rear remote spacing. Even though the spacing can be adjusted, that adjustment may not be enough. Been there, done that. Plus it really only works when you have a single set, and it is sort of a bulky thing hanging off of the existing remote outlets. When you have 2 next to each other as you do, you just blocked off either your 4th or 5th set. So probably not something that you would want.

If your 4th & 5th SCVs are manual, then I suggest using a diverter and having a control grip for the control lever that has the control switch built into the grip. Very convenient. If they are electric, need more info about the system and controls to be able to recommend something.

The picture is of the grip used in a 3000 series JD.

Sorry about not having the pic resized. :ashamed:

Cylinders are getting built this week. Sorry for the delay. :ashamed:

The 4th & 5th are manual with lever, with electric switches to activate continuous flow.
Yes, others have suggested going with the John Deere factory 3 spool diverter for clean install.
I'll be visiting the dealer this week to inquire about the costs/etc.
We shall see.

So in reality the 4th & 5th are only a single unit with a diverter?? I guess I should go look at a parts break down.

A single additional diverter system from me is $675 + shipping costs. The shipping costs could partially be absorbed if I shipped with the "T&T" set. Do some research, fairly certain that your order will ship next Monday.

I have the 3 spool diverter on my 110tlb with 3 front and 3 rear outlets. I seldom need the front third aux circuit and have considered putting tees in this circuit so that I could have front and rear availability of it. While I would not be able to use the front and rear couplers at the same time it would be a cheap way to have four sets of couplers on the rear.

Since my 4520 is not equipped with a fel I moved these couplers to the rear to have three sets available for tnt and an additional set for hydraulic rippers. As I understand it the 4066R set up is very different and appears from another post here may be coming out with a new valve assembly due to a rumored recall. Don't know how factual this is but I would definitely check this all out before buying a new valve.s

Got to make sure everything fits.

Brian, I infer from your reply that you're a dealer or parts supplier? I just bought a 2015 4066R w/Cab from a smaller dealer near me (In in VA). I' also a 1st time tractor purchaser. I put a large number of options on it - more than I think their used to from normal clientele. They're good guys, don't get me wrong, but there were a few things I wanted to add - including this diverter - that they said were non-starters. Obviously from this discussion, that's not the case. I'm looking for someone I can sanity check their knowledge with but don't want to tie up the forum with stupid new guy questions. Two questions - would you mind if I picked your brain? Is there a way I can do it via a different email so I'm not cluttering the tread? Thanks, Bill
