I've never fully understood what a Troll is??

I think this site is pretty tame. I've been on other sites that the mods simply gave up on, and they closed the site. There is one I know of, that exists solely to argue and call others names. I peeked in a couple of times, but I really don't need that in my life. I enjoy my time here, and have learned a whole lot in the process.

You can google "internet troll" for the typical definitions...but there are at least a couple of different types of "trolls"...

Personally...I call anyone (including myself) that browses (trolls) the forums for something interesting a troll...whether they make a post or not...so I do not deem (all) troll, posts as out of place etc...

However the more negatively revered definition usually refers to someone that posts to a thread for no reason other than to be a wise *** or be disruptive to a discussion...

Sometimes, just the way someone (usually a noob) titles a new thread inspires a troll to post a wise acre remark...often out of context but based on the verbiage of the title etc...this rarely if ever occurs on TBN but sometimes it hard to resist the urge to be an obnoxious troll sometimes...!!

Same thing goes for the term "hacker"...but I've never heard of a white hat troll...
