27F now mid 40's for high,days as such you gotta love in the middle of winter compare to what it could be.

All in all January seem to be easy month for those aren't to fond of snow also the wildlife,for those depend on snow also fun time suffering at tad.
February ...hope it scoots by quick,for once I'm looking forward to mud season.

Good Morning! 40F @ 5:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 53F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Heard from the ignition supplier yesterday, who apparently has a trigger unit he says he actually installed on a "test mule" and has observed working properly. It'll be on the way Monday, and I should have it the next day. Going to be cutting it close for the weekend, when I have a ride/campout planned for me and that bike. I hate making last minute changes right before a trip, so I might just put the old parts back on, or at least take them with me, just in case.

Nothing like waking up to the wonderful smell of crock pot chili. Put a batch on last night before I went to bed, and now I'm trying to recall if I've ever had chili for breakfast before. :licking:

High close to 60 today mid winter thaw I suppose enjoying the hospitality of South Carolina this weekend mild and nice but no vacationers. Travel day today then paving on Monday and Tuesday before rain and cool down. Mid February on looks cold and stormy for the east until mid March. Could be another big snow on horizon around 10th ot 12th time will tell

47 here going to 71 and cloudy. Have a lady coming by today to look at the horse I have for sale. Yesterday I made a new goat feeder welding up a 5 sided box out of wire cow panel. Seems to be working well at not letting them make a mess and wasting hay. Took their V-trough feeder over to the cows, and that is working to. So today I will be taking the tractor and cleaning up all the old hay with mixed poop and spreading it in the garden. I took the Big Girl out yesterday hooked to the forecart and went up and down the road. Now I really want to get this wagon done.


Eric, I feel your loss. I was excited about losing weight so I could fit in my old stuff to find it was just t wore out to wear. I kept it packed away for years knowing someday I would get back in them...

Roy, The Black & Tans around here either make you smile or drive you crazy with the baying. I guess beer could have the same effect.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 55° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with sun and increasing winds. Front is moving in from the west. High temperatures will be in the 50's with rain early this week. Then back to 70's for Super Bowl weekend. Another relaxing day on the patio.
Kyle, I'm afraid Wipper's best learning will continue to be protecting Don's place.
Roy, enjoy that case of beer.
RNG, chili for breakfast. Not sure my stomach could handle 3 meals of it in one day.
