In a nutshell, your tractor is "as new" and not much more than run in.You have a "hens tooth". Set your price high and stick to your guns.

I bought my 1998 NH1920 4WD with 720 hours, Ag tires, FEL, 5' rotary mower, bad clutch ($1200 to replace), bad sheet metal (rust & dents) in 2011 for a measly $6500 (seller was very motivated - got a deal). The tractor has been a true workhorse. Except for some wiring headaches, the tractor has been a mechanical wonder. Ford/NH "knew their stuff" when they built these babies with the Shibaura diesels in them. If you can see any need for a tractor in your future, I would keep the 'gem' to avoid kicking yourself later. If it's gotta go, $12K is very reasonable, considering the price of a new CUT with your 1920 specs.

Sad that you have to sell it. Start at book value. You can always go down as your need to sell it grows.

Regardless of what the product is or it's rareness and/or condition, an item is only worth what someone will pay. We can throw numbers at you all day. But no one on this thread is handing you money.

That model was made all the way to the year 2000. So it is not as old as 1987 makes it seem. I'd say around $12 to $13K. How many blue tractors in your parts? Brand loyalty will help.

Yep. Will have to find a buyer looking for that specific tractor. Big killer is the tires.....

I bought two new BKT 13.6 x 24 R-1 tires for my 1920 last year for $565 plus mounting.
Thus, in the big picture, I do not see the those tires as a "big killer".
As another poster has said: that is a new tractor. The existing tires do not diminish the value of THAT tractor very much.

I have a Massey 245 with Turf tires and it gets a lot of use raking, spraying and hogging. None of which need much traction for those duties. 2WD to boot and never stuck. I'd snag that 1920 if I was in the market for that size.

R-3 tires are not the mot popular style on a 1920 and converting to R-1's requires different sized rims for both front and rear. So a person interested in a very, very nice 1920 probably won't want to pay full value for this one then drop something north of $2000 to put his choice of rubber on it.

I'm with the others. 12 grand with the mower is a very fair deal. I love the xx20 series Ford/NH tractors. Good luck on the sale.
