Anyone have one of these Compact Tract Attachment Grapples?

Been looking at grapples and wonder if anyone has one of these G50 grapples and what they think about it. I like the weight of less than 200lb
I won't be digging roots just moving logs and trash.

Definitely lite weight and pretty inexpensive.

ETA has one that is a little more expensive and a little heavier but looks quite a bit beefier.

I have the ETA one and have been very pleased with it. I used it for firewood, brush, back dragging and rock digging and its been tough.

We have one that is more enclosed at the bottom, Kinda handy if you need move a little dirt while grappling without having to re-install the bucket. Ken Sweet

Thanks guys, I do like that Tomahawk design.
My neighbor and I decided to go with this from a guy about 60 miles away. He will build to order and the price is right and like you said. "Kinda handy if you need move a little dirt while grappling without having to re-install the bucket." This will still pick up what I need and clamp what I need and I will not have to change tools. Just can't justify a dedicated grapple for the use it will get.

I will Sweet, as soon as they get built. He called today and said the material will be ordered next week. missed the last order by a day but that is fine. Not like I need it in this weather.

I have an Add-A-Grapple and really like it. But I looked at the one you posted and it looks just a good at half the price. Great find.

I looked at the Add-A-Grapple to and thought the same thing. Those have the pipe that runs across the top of the bucket and just add more weight than I want to add. I may need to reinforce the top of the bucket some I will see when I pick it up. Because my neighbor and I are both getting one the guy cut us in at $340.00 for each one. I can do some additional work for that money. :thumbsup:

That looks like a really good value. I am considering one. I am sick of having so many bucket attachments, and I would very infrequently use a grapple. I really like my Versatech (Tomahawk) rock bucket, and think it would make the most sense to add one of those add-on grapples to it instead of a dedicated grapple.

FYI, that CT Attachments guy is close by, and I see him advertise on Craigslist now and again. His stuff looks well-made from what I have seen. If you look at the photos, the welds look top-notch and the designs are pretty good. I would say this is an engineer building attachments in his spare time.
