Contacted these guys and found out that their product is supposed to be put up before the metal. Unfortunately, my barn is already built, so I am look for a product that can be applied after construction. Looking for something other than spray foam. Thanks.

I think that roll stuff which is put down then the sheet metal placed over it is strictly for condensation prevention. Not much R value to a 1" thick fiberglass regardless of what facing material is used.
I just put in some R13 fiberglass in my boat/lawnmower storage area (Roof). Lowes price for 11 precut pieces 96" long x 23" wide was $70. I don't plan to heat or cool it and the insulation is mostly just to keep the summer temps down. My neighbor had given me several rolls of R13 for the walls so I just continued with that R value when I had to buy a bit more.
Installation instructions say to finish seal it after installation but I don't plan to do that on this lean-to shed. I did put up some pieces of plywood on the bottom 4 feet so that I don't damage the insulation when parking my boat and lawnmowers. Per todays pricing, I don't think you will find anything cheaper than bat fiberglass insulation. It may not be the easiest to install but one pays a big premium for spray type that IS easy to install.

You may not want spray foam but here is an idea worth considering.

A neighbour of mine here in Alberta built a workshop that he wanted insulated. I never saw the figures but he told me that he bought his own application equipment and supplies for very little more than the cost of fiberglass. Now he foams other peoples shops as a sideline and has more than recouped the cost of his equipment.

People living in the US have a lot more choices than we do on stuff like this. I would look into it.

The newer water based foams are very fire resistant.

The rolls of insulation typically used when the metal is being attached to the building can certainly be installed after the fact.

When they finished my building there was a ton of insulation left over. I intend to add some it to walls with a barn 'lining' (either metal, wood sheathing or Hardi-Panel) over it. Will use the rest to augment the exiting R-19 in the ceiling. A little more problematic attaching it to the ceiling of my all steel building with it's metal purlins as compared to those with wood frame construction.

He must have got a really good deal on a used system. There's nothing wrong with that if it works and he is able to make some side money. I would be very careful with buying used equipment, especially if you have no experience with using it. There's a lot of expensive maintenance in spraying foam.

There are diy kits too, I bought a kit from foam it green (com) and it was very easy to use. Came in two lp grill sized tanks.
