Propane Prices

I would have told them to come pull it out. Thats easy to do, you can reverse pump a tank just like pumping it in. You need a new supplier.

Suburban is suppose to be sending me a "corrected" invoice in the mail. So far, I have not received it? Looking for a new supplier is on my list of things to get done before next winter. Ken Sweet

1.29/G in California to fill-up my (new company to me) 1000 gallons.
1.99 locked in for 2 years

Suburban and others wanted 2.40/G or more.

We always get the shaft in california.

ON a much nicer note I paid $1.60 for Diesel yesterday ;)

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg! I paid $1.99 for diesel this morning and that was the cheapest at four stations. One was $2.05 and they other two were $2.25 or $2.29. Last time I paid $1.99 was in Feb 2005 so said the log book....

Later,
Dan

This is a little different, but I had our local supplier fill up my 20 lb grill tanks at $0.65 per pound. Not sure price per gallon but that's cheaper than the last time he filled them

Propane is 4.24lb ber gallon.

So @ $0.65/lb would be $2.75/gallon

I have a Weber 6 burner grill that eats propane like an internet troll eats Cheetos...bottled gas is expensive! When I built the house I piped out a stub from my 500 lb tank but the supplier refused to hook it up...worried that I could drain the entire tank. Just what it is I guess...as for the "pre-pay" option...I have to decide before July 31...before anybody knows how much will be required for corn/soybean drying and then there is also that "weather" thing. Option is to pay $75 and "cap" the price. Two years ago I did neither and got creamed. Last year I pre-bought and probably came out even. This year I pre-bought and in hindsight would have been better with a cap. Propane contracts are like entering a casino I think.

I paid $1.06 in central Wisconsin last week. Very near the same time our two 1,000 gallon tanks at work were filled by a different supplier for $1.36. Gotta love em.
