Your absolutely right!

What's interesting, the GC1720 was way more comfortable than the CK2510. Actually felt more like the CK3510, which was weird seeing that it is a different category of tractor.

I'm going to take the advice and just save up a bit more money and buy once, BIGGER, and be done with it.

Hope to have it within the next couple months if all goes well. I'm working on getting my tax exempt card now and that might make a difference too.

I think you'll be very happy with your choice even though additional money. The CK3510 is very similar to my CK30hst. I'm 6'3'' and it fits me well. From the jobs you mentioned, I think it will be a good size and handle your work well. The only thing was the size of the trails you wanted. They'll be just a little wider.

Just for comparison, have you checked out the Massey 1734e ? I believe that's the straight competitor to that Kioti ck3510.

Just looking on their website, 1734E is the same price for just the tractor and loader as the Kioti is for the TLB set up. That is one issue I am having, if I want to step up in size, I have to go with LS or Kioti. I can't afford a $27-30k tractor when I have only budgeted $21,000 to begin with. I can come up with the extra $2,500 but not he extra $5k.

They did look nice when I seen one in person at the dealership a few weeks ago though....

Ok, was just throwing it out there... Although might be worth checking on actual dealer prices, just in case. Some Massey dealers will sell close to invoice (my local Massey/Kioti dealer is one such) and might still be within reach.

Nothing wrong with Kioti tho, they build a good machine.

Just saw another thread about the CK2610. I never knew it existed. Might be worth looking into. Seems like it is the same tractor as the CK3510 except for the engine.

I just looked it up, not a lot of information about them. But that would work for me, it looks to have the same specs except the engine HP and PTO HP.

Wonder what the price point is?

it should be lower, If I am looking at it correctly, it will not have the Tier 4 final equipment on board as it falls under the 26 hp. I suspect this unit is made to go head to head with the Kubota 2501, also with no Tier 4 final equipment on board. It is all about price point and marketing.

It's probably a derivative of the CK25 and/or CK27: same frame as the 30 and 35 HP tractor. And if digging/loading are its primary uses, the PTO HP is less important. That's why I didn't get the bigger units. To maximize the 25 ponies, I went with a shuttle shift. HST is better for loader work, but the shuttle has its place too. No regrets entering year 10. She's been a beast of an earth mover, both with the backhoe and the loader.
