I was topping it off after driving somewhere around 60 miles or so in the snow yesterday. Also had a lot of time idling to warm it up so I wouldn't have to scrape the glass.

$1.289/gal for regular here this morning.

Cheaper to buy new, but with minimal options. As far as pick-ups go, the options can easily add 50% to the cost. Sometimes the options almost double the price.

I would much rather have a new vehicle with minimal options, that a "loaded" used vehicle, and both will cost about the same.

I agree,I had been looking for a good used 2 year old 3/4 pickup for 6 months.Used prices were flat arse stupid.I ended up buying new with rebates and my supplier discounts it was a no brainer.

Actually you can get either bed length with the crew and quad cab. I think that started in 2013 on the ram 1500's.
