New 1025r

If you like your brand, you can keep your brand.

Lots of good brands these days. There is no "best" or "superior" across the board brand.

Our last new tractor.

I own Kubota and Deere, but I think the OP got himself off on the wrong foot here. Me, if I was going to brag on Deere, I'd pick a different model to be the poster child.

Well I could just kubota bash that's not why I'm here I heard this forum is filled with guys who get an attitude if you don't own the brand they like I guess that's true

You started this off with Kubota bashing so it certainly does seem like it's what you came to do. I encourage you to reread your own posts and think about how you would receive a post like that if someone else wrote it.

Kubota has the Number 1 satisfaction rating among owners. They make a decent product. Your claims about Kubota (or JD) are not supportable.

Our family has owned JD (4), Satoh (2), Kubota (2), Bobcat (2), Kioti (2), Bolens (2), Farmal (1). I like some models better than others, but all of these machines have been quality. The only one that really gave any trouble was one of the JD 4300's but that was because it was used exclusively for backhoe work which was probably not the duty cycle it was intended for.

Most people on TBN are not super brand loyal, but when you start off with unsupported brand bashing what do you expect to get in return?

Congratulation on your new tractor. I hope you enjoy it and encourage you to re-engage on the forum. Just be mindful of how what you write may be received.

Larry, I hope that you mean your most recent new tractor. Let's hope that it is not your last new tractor. ;)

Hey, are you thinking LS or New Holland for the next one?

Like JOHNTHOMAS, I keep saying "this is my last tractor", but given time, another seems to eventually show up.

My brother and I own some tractors individually and some jointly, he is pretty impressed with the LS in the 40-50HP range for a farm we jointly own. He is the mechanical brains in our family.:)

Welcome. Hope yours is better than mine was. Mine was a real lemon.

Have a 2025R now, a MUCH better tractor. I looked at a B2301 and would have bought it if the timing was a bit better, etc. On a spreadsheet ranking, the B2301 was the better machine. This 2025R is the best tractor I've had so far though. Just wish it had all the same stuff but with only 18-19 hp, as that's all I need (like my 4010).
