I have probably forgot more about tractors then most know and I've hated John Deere for years but they produce the best product so that's why I broke down and bought one if you want a list of problems with orange let me know
Looks like your going to be popular.

On the ignore list !!

Congrats! I liked the JD 1025R, as much as my Kubota BX25D-1, but not when the price difference was taken into account. The JD was going to cost around $5,000 more, for like setups. Not justifiable, to me.

Personally, I found the BX and 1025R to be the same, on paper and function, but both had opposite strengths. I did a comparison thread on some used models, but the same pros and cons fit with the new models.

And since there seems to be a pissing match, let me add that I came to these conclusions with no bias or preference, in any way. Before I decided I wanted a tractor, around two years ago, I had only sat on one running tractor, in my life, when I was around seven years old. Feature for feature, there are a lot of top quality tractors out there, in the SCUT and CUT market.

When I went shopping I had no bias as my preferred tractor no longer makes one in the SCUT size so I had to be open to other brands

Does the BX25D have the hydraulic cooling fan underneath like the smaller BXs? The 1025R does not.

It does, though, have a fuel filter underneath the left floor board. Can't understand why. Both the 2025R and the 1025R take exactly the same bowl filter and are almost exactly the same size engine, but the 1025R has that horrid underneath fuel filter.

The BX25D has two filters, one in front and one behind the fuel pump I believe. Not much of an issue to replace though.

Could be... I compared like models different colors with BH as I really wanted that feature. Some say a luxury but I have already done several hundred feet of trenching and several stump removals. Not to mention the quick hole digging for planting bushes and trees. Latest pleasure was unearthing my clean out ports on my septic tank. My shovels are getting rusty due to lack of use. Dang. :D

Nothing wrong with shovels rusting and more seat time 👍🏻

The BX25D is almost the same as the BX2370. There is a different FEL on each model, but they are very similar. As far as the engine and other parts, they are the same. If a BX25D w/o the BH was beside a BX2370, most people would never tell which was which. The BX25D does have bracing, for the BH and the rear hydraulics, but most other parts are interchangeable. Yes, the BX25D has the same fan, on the shaft.

They have two fuel filters and the hydraulic filter is on the front of the HST. Here's a pic of an older BX25, but mine looks the same:

You can see one of the fuel filters, in this picture:

The pricing I received showed the BH to cost around $5,000, from either company. The Tractor, FEL, and MMM were around $5,000 more, from JD, here. Pricing is very regional, though. While JD is higher here, I seem to have done the best out of the BX25D buyers.
