I saw a news article that Cleber tractor was going to set up a plant in Cuba. I've never seen a rear engine tractor before. Mowers yes, tractors no!

That Cleber tractor plant in Cuba is something I will watch.
My wife and I spent 8 days in Cuba 3 years ago, and we learned a lot!
The Cleber is expected to sell for $10,000, but I can't imagine what Cuban will have $10,000 to buy one.
A doctor gets paid the equivalent of $30 per month.
The country is a financial disaster, and there is not any bank loan system available.
The Cuban government owns EVERYTHING, so likely, the government will buy the Clebers.
Current Cuban tractors are mostly Russian built from the 60's, and they are worn out junk!
Perhaps some Chinese stuff may come in, but again, ....where would the money to buy those come from?
Cuba has a population of 12 million, has millions of acres of arable land, yet must import food!
It is a pathetic place, but I think Bernie Sanders would like it.

Seems they are a frankenstein sorts of tractor by intention.

Based on the Allis-Chalmers G tractor, which was rear-engine, but a copy of the Tuff-Bilt tractor, which is currently being built in Paint Rock, AL, the home of Cleber, and it sells for under $10K using USA labor! There is a lawsuit as the Cleber/Oggun tractor being demoed is acutually a repainted Tuff-Bilt... Tuff-Bilt logo is still on the steering wheel. Says that Cleber was originally going to license the Tuff-Bilt, but then just copied it with some upgrades. Legal since both are based on the AC G whose patents have expired.

Front and rear 3 point hydraulics, hydrostat drive, 1300 lbs, adjustable front and rear track - looks to be equivalent in size/features to high end zero turn mowers or sub-CUTs. A fair price if it's the machine you need. Clearly a row crop tractor, not a utility tractor.
