Fuel gelled ?

I treat all my fuel when I buy it, in my diesel truck I had a heated filter and always used a fuel additive and never had any problems.

Don't use summer diesel in the winter. End of problem.

Gee, why didn't I think of that, thanks for the tip. However had you read the OP, the fuel was in the truck since late summer.

So what was the issue with the truck?

The dealer had the truck for a few days, I have not seen exactly what they did but I do know they blamed the no start on the starter itself. So that was changed, along with a full fuel system cleaning and new filters. While it was there they suggested replacing much of the break system from lines to pads calipers and rotors. The truck does sit for extended periods and is on the coast so salt are kills everything. All said and done the bill was almost $6,000... But they rotated the air in the tires for free.

Welcome to taking a vehicle to a dealer. All I can say is WOW. More reading here first could save you lots of $$$$$$$. Just saying.
