Buying Advice Help me find a tractor to manage my 40 wooded acres

For $20k, you'll get WAAAAYYYY more tractor for your money with an LS machine. You can get into a large-frame CUT, 41HP. The property size, terrain, and task description suggests going as large as you can afford.

Check to see if you have an LS dealer nearby.

There is an LS dealer about 30 minutes away. What model would you recommend that's $20K or less?

I haven't checked their pricing in awhile but a few years ago you could get into a 40 HP with loader for that. Check the XR4040 or XR4140.

I haven't checked their pricing in awhile but a few years ago you could get into a 40 HP with loader for that. Check the XR4040 or XR4140.

The XR4140 is $25K, however they have a XG3032H for $19.5K and a G3033H for $18K.

Wow, LS pricing is really going up since I owned one.

The XG would be a better choice than the G.

But at that price, the TYM you already posted might offer a bit more capacity.
