Does anyone have a draw bar tow and tongue weight rating for the JD3032E? That may give some insight into how strong that Aluminum housing is built. Does anyone know the circumstances around the broken aluminum rear housing?
The drawbar came loose and slid backwards and then got whacked by a bush hog blade.

The Massey Ferguson 1734e + loader was $22K. No discount off of MSRP.
...

Check with that dealer on eBay. Might be able to get it shipped for a decent price. I'm surprised your dealer won't move below MSRP...

He just called back and said that he can offer a $2,000 discount off MSRP if paying cash. The $22K is financing at 0%/60months.

Well that's something... But, In all fairness, I think you still need to get some seat time in each one that you're considering. If you find one you really like, I wouldn't let a couple grand (in either direction) stop you from getting it, whether it's the Bota, Massey, TYM, etc. You'll have it for awhile, might as well be happy...

foreman Etexas,
Wylie TX is not that far away and the New Holland T1520 link you sent looks pretty good:
http://www.tractorhouse.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=10187955
.
There is also a New Holland T1510 at the same dealer. Same price, but only 150 hours on it:

I can probably manage to borrow the $3,900 to afford either of these and pay cash.

A buddy at work owned a 1520 for 5yrs then he moved up in size without a single issue. Are you sure a tractor that size going to fit the bill? One good thing about buying a used one like that 1520 is even thou you find out later it is to small your not going to take the big hit as if you bought new and just trade up. Trust me I traded my M5040 in that was 2yrs old with I believe 500hrs and took around a 8grand loss,it pays off to do it right the first time

That's a pretty good deal. The same tractor in my neck of the woods would sell for around 15k with over 1000 hours on it. Every once in a while I'll see private parties selling for a little less. Like foreman said, if you decide to sell it in two years, you'll probably not lose much if any on it. You could possibly sell it for more. Just depends on the market in your area at the time.

Perhaps the dealer will lower the price, throw in an attachment, offer free delivery or some combination of these.

I did a ton of research before I bought my Kubota.

You should make time to attend the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, the premier ag show for the entire SE.

Every tractor manufacturer is there in force.

October 18-20, 2016.

I'm pretty sure, since it's in the same range as the others I've been looking at. The T1520 has 35hp gross, 29.5 hp PTO, 2,400 lbs weight. I don't know what the lift capacity is, though. My google-fu is not coming up with anything.
