I think you need that ripper tooth we discussed.

A very good example of why you should never cut down the tree before digging it out. I can take out an entire tree with my backhoe in ten minutes, but it takes hours to dig out a stump.

Make a video.

With these trees they are close to the house, I have never dug one out while still standing.

I had less than 2 feet of clearance if it fell the wrong way I would of been screwed, so it was roped and pulled down as I cut it to control landing. Had to pull both of them against their lean also.

Well, I'm done for a little while.

Busted a hydraulic line on the BH! Darn it! Was under pinning the stump and got it hooked on the root that I didn't see and put a small pin hole in it. So now it leaks.....UGH!

Leave the stumps a lot longer for leverage. You are giving up a free built-in lever.... No reason to cut them that short, even next to a house.

Did some more work around the house.

Had to burn out the tap root on a Hickory stump! It was as big as my leg at 4-5 foot deep!

Pressure washed my deck, it was bad but looks much better now.

Dug out another stump next to driveway and now I can widen the driveway at the top of the hill and make the parking a little easier up there. Some the rocks I pulled out from around the stump were rather large! I plan to use the larger rocks as decorations and stuff around the house.

I was wondering when someone was going to notice my quote's, I have been changing them once a week or so. It's actually time to change it again now that I think about it.....Um...Hmm
