What do I need for a 50 hour service on a DK45SE

My CK30HST was $500 I think from the dealer for parts and labor, as well as pickup and delivery which is 45 miles, and lots of back roads, roughly 1hr drive.

They are picking it up today for 100hr service and I think he said $250 with pickup and delivery.

I don't have a kioti but after my 50 hour service the oil in the sight glass was so much clearer I had to look twice to make sure it was there. No major debris in the drained fluid but significant difference in clarity of the fluid old vs. new.

That could simply be the initial color of the new fluid being paler. Not all HST fluid is the same color in the pail.

You need to learn to do the minor services yourself! The 100hr service takes 20-30 minutes, roughly $50-75 in supplies and requires almost no expert mechanical ability.

Sure.... Or I have the peace of mind my dealer is doing it, handling a punch item, and while I'm running my business another trained professional is tending to my machine.

I don't mind paying for quality service and work. It's why my customers pay me what they do.

Understood though you could take that argument further and just hire a lawn service and subcontract any other tractor activities to a local farmer or landscaper too. Most of us think of our tractors as a bit more like an extension of our own selves rather than as just another anonymous vehicle in the family fleet. My point was simply that it really doesn't require a professional to do most of the maintenance work on a tractor.
