When my drive motors starting going and even till I replaced them, the engine never stalled.

Have a model A and for the last week it been acting funny. Engine runs goodand all the rest but when in drive, it will slow down and same for engine rpm 2 or 3 seconds. Today it stalled the engine when snow plowing but wasn't moving realy fast. Looks to me the drive pumps are failing. Could it be something else. Any experience with that kind of snags. Thanks.
You should not be able to stall the engine. Check your fuel and air filters. Sound like an engine issue.

The only time I ever stalled the motor was on a very cold day (engine and fluids not totally warmed up yet) and I engaged the snowblower which happened to have the fan blade frozen solid to the blower and I didn't notice it. It immediately stalled the engine before the bypass could kick in.

Ok, Guys! I'm ready to drop the bomb and buy a 2007 5600. I'll be buying it from a dealer up in Wisconsin and shipping it to North Florida.

There are 3049 hrs on the clock and a good deal of bed rust as it was a municipal plow and sidewalk cleaner. Given the amount of chems they use, I'd say the bed is in pretty good and repairable condition.

What questions should I ask the dealer before settling on the price. About $5K less than anyone else I've seen of late.

The tires are all but worn smooth. Which I'd expect from a quad-steer on city sidewalks.

It's got the 7/14 connector. Although, I'm not ure I even know or will ever need it.

I've asked for and received a series of pics and all seems really good for the age and use.

There is a problem with the boom. It appears that when the bucket is laid flat on the ground one corner is higher than the other.

However, I've got an LS tractor for all my FEL work. So it's not a deal breaker for me.

Give me some questions to ask this dealer to settle the jitters in my heart about buying a machine like this sight unseen!

What Series is it?

You can tell from the serial number (thanks to SSdoxie).

Make sure you get one of these with it. Utility Vehicle, Toolcat, & Tractor - Operation & Maintenance Manual

You could also request a Service Manual and a Parts Manual.

Isn't the manual available as a pdf file?

I'll ask when they open. Will be driving home today but the navigator can communicate via iPad.

Be kind to the Mrs., Guys!

Selling my '11 Ranger Diesel to fund some of this venture.

Hope I'm doing the right thing.

Too many joint replacements over the years can't even get into, or out of, anything Kubota nor Deere make
in the UTV realm and the Polaris Brutus/BobCat 3600 both are severely under powered.

Which drops me at the ToolCat platform. Nice place to be but it's got to work.

Have the dealer plug in service analyzer and copy the service codes and warnings for you. This will tell you if there are any issues with the unit like it being overheated or electrical problems.

The manual is paper or CD Rom.

Have the dealer put the optional step on it, to make it easier to get in and out of.

With the engine off, is there any way to roll or move the Toolcat D series?
