Bought the Titan 48" forks and bale spear combo a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with the purchase. Haven't used the bale spear yet but it looks to be very well made.

I got the 42 inch pallet fork, hay spear combo. It even has a 2" receiver so you can move trailers around instead of cuttings hole in one fork and putting in a ball. The forks are great and haven't come off yet. I do have to put the bucket on soon and move some horse manure around soon.

That $65 to add the hay spear is a great value. The long spear alone is $90+ to replace. If you don't use either very much they're great. If you use them very often it pays to have the separate attachments.

Cobalt, Congratulations on your new forks.

My post was in error, I bought the HD 48" x 4000 forks.

48" Skid Steer Heavy Duty Pallet Fork Attachment

I have been hemming and hawing about getting a set for my compact tractor. I just bought the same one. I like that it has the option for a bale spear (or possible zombie impaling device). I was looking at local auctions and a pretty nice used one went for $1200! I could get a brand new Bobcat branded one for $800. Thanks for the link!

I bought mine about 3 years ago and nary a zombie here since then.

Added the 49" zombie spear to my order today. All shipped free.

They told me the Madness10 coupon code ends at midnight if you're on the fence.

Some food for thought;
You don't need 48" forks to lift a 48" pallet!
AS long as you are, say 2/3 of the pallet size you are OK.
A shorter set of forks will be much more maneuverable especially in close quarters.

(I once sold fork lift trucks)

1. The cost difference between 48" and 42" or 36" is minimal.

2. Many of use our pallet forks for more than just pallets.

I bought some clamp on forks from Titan last night. I'll use them a lot but I just can't buy another $500 implement right now. However, I did also get a carry-all and saved 10% on my order with an online coupon. MADNESS10

I was more concerned with unloading longer items like flail mowers and tillers and snow blowers. I have seen folks who unloaded those say they were happy they didn't have anything shorter than 48.
