Yep. My wife got an iPhone 6 and I got the 6s Plus the same day. Out on our property she will have LTE and I won't and we'll be standing right next to each other. Voodoo.

I can't prove this, but I have always felt the Motorola products were just a bit better radios than the blackberries, and apples. It seemed Motorola put a little more into the radio and maybe a little less into other features of the phone

I could not agree more.

Was able to activate the iPhone SE on the Verizon network yesterday, and so far 4G LTE is a no show, quite contrary to the Verizon coverage map and assurances from their sales staff. The best I've managed is -93 db inside the house, later falling to -118 db. Not much difference outside the house, even though the Wilson antenna/amplifier shows no sign of overload. To say I'm disappointed would be putting it mildly.

And just to add insult to injury, I had to power cycle the satellite modem this morning to even get on the Internet.

Very interested in the SE...

My 12 year old Nokia company issued phone is on it's last legs...

I really need something that works for voice and especially when I am onsite... thought the Apple SE might be just the ticket to bring me into the modern world.

Too bad there isn't an easy way to test drive a phone for day...

A 12 year old phone? No offense, but that has got to be some kind of record.:)

Hey... I use what they give me... and I just checked... 2007 so 9 years and with the original battery!

It is always a conversation starter when I answer a call.

I think the problem is not the phone as much as T-Mobil.

There many areas of the Hospital with no service... Verizon and AT&T seem to work everywhere in the Hospital.

I have the same problem, poor to no cell reception in the work shop but for $350 I'll just step outside.
Usually have to pee anyway so multitask.

You must be my neighbor.

You can get unlocked phone on internet. They sell them with slot for two or three SIMs. Then you could use prepaid service and select which one is the cheapest for the call you want to make. If you make only few calls prepaid might be cheaper than contract. S6+ Quad Band Unlocked Phone-3.82 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com
I used to buy local phone when traveling for work in overseas. Typical simple (unlocked) phone with voice, data hot spot and sms only would cost about 20 USD plus prepaid SIM for another 10 or more depending on prepaid minutes. The nice thing about those was the battery lasted about two weeks between charges if talk time was kept short. In many countries all mobile are unlocked but you always pay full price for the gadget. They tried to lock them but people would go right away to a corner shop that would unlock them for small fee. They tried to fine people for doing so but it just pissed them off and they went with another provider. In many countries most if not all mobiles are prepaid. You go to bank ATM enter your mobile number and the code on the prepaid card and it will recharge your SIM. Takes a minute, done. Or if you don understand local language you can go mobile shop or store and they will recharge it for you.

The employer provided T-Mobile phone is prepaid... 1000 minutes for $100 and it was for the Hospital to be able to reach me after hours... which it works ok for... it is super frustrating to be asked why I don't pick up calls when they call me and I am in the building.

Most of my work calls are about a minute or less...

Went to T-Mobile and was told it could be my old phone and if so... I can changed it... but there is no way to try it... I've asked around the Hospital where everyone has a phone... Verizon, AT&T and Sprint... so far no T-Mobile users.

I use a prepaid in Austria that is unlocked... it a real handicap when trying to meet people and not being able to be reached so a phone is almost a necessity...

Did not know about the multi SIM option
