Kioti and Third Function Valve

Still trying to figure out the baseline of this problem. Are other NX or DK owners able to raise/lower the FEL while simultaneously trimming the bucket? Even while feathering, I cannot. It's one or the other, no matter what I do.

You need a piloted valve to run multiple functions at once.

On my nx I can raise/lower and curl/dump at the same time.

I have a DK40 HST with the WR Long kit installed by my dealer and I can do one or the other- just like yours. I am used to it and it does not hamper my operation.

My DK40se is the same, I don't have 3rd function but it's almost impossible to keep forks level while raising them. It can be done but it is unbearably slow, you can only Crack the valve for each function otherwise one or the other functions will take over. It's faster to lift a few feet stop and level then repeat. it's the one thing I really don't like about this tractor, that and how slow the loader is. One of the reasons I chose the kioti was it had one of the highest flow pumps, apparently it has the fastest power steering not loader. My john deere 790 you could lift and curl and hold the valve full open on both functions and it would do both at the same time, same way with the new holland skid steer I run at work (pilot controls).

I do not have a third function valve on my CK35, loader only. Raising the arms and dumping the bucket at the same time is nearly impossible, but it can be done, painfully, painfully slow. Lowering the arms and curling the bucket, can be done simultaneously, fast and very fluid.

I know what you mean! But if that's not irritating enough jump in a skidsteer then back on the tractor! I know that skidsteers are purpose built for fast loader work but the tractor should be closer.

I don't have that problem with my DK 35.
Works fast and smooth. (KL1450 loader)

I'm hearing 'piloted valve'; what is that exactly, and are they present on either the DK-40 series, or NX series Kiotis?

TIA,

Hydraulics go to the easiest place first. When a valve is open, all the fluid goes to the easiest ram to move first. In multivalve body that is piloted, the pilot regulates so that multiple functions get flow allowing multiple functions to work at once. My NX is not a piloted valve and any multiple functionality is controlled by the operator backing off the easiest moving ram, allowing fluid to flow to the second function that is also working.

How does a pilot valve work?
