That was great!

We got about 3" here in North Fort Worth, but only about !.7" at the ranch in Brown County. I was there this weekend and only spotty rain on Saturday, but pretty good rain from 4:30 am til about 9:00 Sunday morning. Then just occasional sprinkles as it all cleared.

I need to get some seed out for dove fields and deer patches, but it has been too wet. The main fields I want to plant in sunflowers (about 20 acres) gets a lot of flowing water if it rains buckets, so I am holding off seeding until we dry a bit. The sunflowers mature in roughly 100 days, so thinking as long as planted by mid-May I should be fine. I don't want to plant them if they won't get a chance to sprout as I am afraid a big rain will just wash the seeds down stream.

Glad to hear you and Miss Glenda are okay. Lucy will heal soon. We got a total of 6.5 inches since dark last night. Just a lot of dirt washed away from my newly added, 2nd, septic tank and line. The ducks are happy

I got about an half inches here at the house.. Lake Jackson,, but got one and half inches at the ranch about 8 miles north of me.. But tomorrow is new day.. Lou

Yep, our total, for the week, is about 8 1/2".

I would have liked that to be spread over 2 months but, beggars can't be choosers.

Another .54" this morning brings us to 9". One of my small pond's dam eroded and I lost about half a pond of water. Still too wet to pull the tractor out. I'm almost getting stuck with my golf cart's large knobby tires.
