What is the total weight of your Offset Disc Harrow? What diameter are the pans on your Offset Disc Harrow?

Impressive performance.

Jeff, it is 2272 lbs and the discs are 24 inch 1/4 inch high carbon steel. 1.5 inch high carbon axle. Welded steel spacers, not cast.

They make a few 3pt harrows, mine is the lof 2224.
AMCO offers three lift harrows for gardening, seedbed prep, and more

Wow, that looks like a nice heavy disc! Can't believe it's an 8' and they suggest 68 engine HP. You have plenty of tractor for it!

How many passes will it take you to get where you want to be? Field looks a little wet to start that IMO, but I guess for a food plot it's not a big deal and a year of clover/grass will probably fix any soil structure issues. With all the stumps you will broadcast the seed?

Its not really level, rutted up from logging, but it should drain alot better now. Vid 4 shows my food plots after a few passes, i think they look great. Im only planting a few acres to start so ill lime/fert through a crop production company and broadcast. For the bigger area ill let it settle, wait for a dry spell and hit it all again.

I was afraid the tractor may pull to hard on it. I ran 4 wheel drive entire time, sometimes with auto diff lock, deep lug ag tires and that tractor has power for days. A smaller tractor would have been better to lose traction if it got hung up, but the disc survived which makes it even more impressive. It should be easier next pass, everything has been hit once and will rot faster now.

Go over that again after a week or so and you would be amazed again. That is a great disc.

You are absolutley correct sir. I did that in the food plot areas and it looks like a garden.

Gents, just wanted to share my experiance with my AMCO disc tilling 30 acres of stump infested ground. I made a few vids on you tube if you want to check them out below. Im really impressed its still in one piece after my property.

Check out this video on YouTube: 4 part series

AMCO LOF Disc running in stump unbroken ground for food plots (1 of 4) - YouTube

Nice disc.

I used an old 7-ft Towner offset drag disc for my 7 acre hayfield. Ground speed: 5-6 mph with my 2008 Mahindra 5525 (55 hp engine).

Good luck
