California, have you seen the video where the guys mount real train air horns on a Toyota or the like and sneak up on people, oblivious to the real world, and blast them with the horns? Might be an idea there?

40 years ago I worked with a co-worker who told me he actually did that.

But not for long. He said he soon got a huge fine for 'creating a dangerous situation' or something.

Got blocked in aisle of local grocery, yesterday, by two ladies on the cell phones yet, part time talking to each other. Got behind one of these idiots at checkout, still on phone and totally oblivious to fact that cashier was waiting for payment. Cashier tried to get her attention but, got the "hand". These people really pi$$ me off!

Saw this today sitting in the carpool lot down the road from my place. One of the local house movers that's been at it for 40 yrs or so. I'd say it's a tad tongue heavy.

He should have moved his axles forward to even out the load!

BTDT, sort of.

I put a 2500 lb 300 gallon IBC tote (pallet tank) on the little 40 x 48" Harbor Freight mini-trailer rated 900 lbs. Surprise, it soon bent the tongue. Here's a post with photos I put over on Welding Web. Summary of that post: I welded on a piece of bedframe angle iron to reinforce the tongue. Now its had 4 more years use and no problems.

I hope that professional trucker can solve his problem as easily. If he got a citation for 'trailer falling apart' that's going to be a major repair.

My guess would be that he forgot to fasten the ramps down. He hit a bump, they popped up, caught the air and down they went.
