Not sure if anyone is interested in installing wheel spacers on their tractor? I decided to add them to my little LS to give me more stability. After deciding to order a set, I had good luck using BORA 3" spacers that were machined to order. I used a company called Motorsport Tech. I gave them the size and year of the tractor which they said they were familiar with being LS orders spacers from them for their products. A problem arose when I received the shipment, needless to say they didn't fit. When I called to let them know there was a problem, Lenny @ Motorsport Tech said there was no problem fixing their mistake. Lenny called LS to get the correct fitment information from them and machined a new set of correct aluminum spacers putting a rush on my order.

The only thing lost on my part, I got the correct spacers a week later than I originally figured I would. Which was no big deal for me! I will say Motorsport Tech covered all shipping and had no problem getting me exactly what I ordered! Their customer service is top notch, and they will work with you making sure you are a satisfied customer.

Although they didn't have LS listed. Calling and letting them know what model you have will lead them to get you the correct spacers you need. The original cost was $295.00 for the spacers, and $25.00 shipping. They are easy to install, and fit perfectly!

If interested? Their web address is Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech Their phone number is 775-351-1000. I am in no way affiliated with Motorsport Tech. I am just a satisfied customer, which in these days is a wonderful thing! They owned up to their mistake, and took care of the problem, PRONTO!!! So if you need a nice set of spacers? Call Lenny @ Motorsport Tech.

Good info. Did you have stability issues? Might be interesting to see some before and after pics.

I'll get some after pictures when I get a chance. No stability issues, I was looking for a little added stability (just in case) is all. You know the old saying: It's better to have it and not need it, than it is not to have it and need it.

Silverstreek, thanks for posting this, I too have a XJ20205H and have been thinking of adding the spacers. Couple questions - like you I want these to add stability when operating on a slope. Can you tell a difference with the added 6-inches? Did you install yourself? I was going to ask my LS dealer about it possibly affecting the warranty, do you know if it does? Appreciate your post, anything else I should know?

I installed the 2" spacers a year ago, and so far no problems. The tractor is much more stable now. Our property is very hilly and with the FEL on, the tractor was very unstable. These spacers were bought from Lenny, he is very helpful. The bolt pattern is metric, I had the same problem with the first set Lenny sent me.

I did the install in about an hour. I never checked to see if spacers would void any warranty.

Rexdar answers the stability question in his recent posting. He's had his installed for a year verses mine having been on for a month.

Rexdar, you said your spacers had a metric bolt pattern! Reading your info may have answered a question I had. This could be where the problem arose with the bolt pattern and the first set of spacers. When I measured the bolt pattern and spoke to Lenny the first time, I told him the bolts were 6" on center. Lenny said he believed they were metric and couldn't be 6" on center as they have produced many sets of spacers for the LS factory. I took that to mean I didn't measure correctly? Assuming the measurements were straightened out and the order was ready to begin production. Imagine my confusion when the spacers finally arrived, and didn't fit. Not only was the bolt pattern too small, the hub wasn't even close. When I spoke to Lenny the second time, I reaffirmed the bolt pattern to be 6" on center, and the set he just sent me was incorrect!

After going over my original findings several more times just to be sure what I said was true, then confirming my measurements with LS. Lenny produced a second set of spacers in record time. These new spacers fit like a glove. Now, I have to wonder if specific manufacturer date or serial numbers has got something to do with the bolt and hub pattern measurements? Either way, I now understand why there was some initial confusion on the spacer and hub measurements. No one's fault, just a difference in axle design.

Thanks!

I added 2 inch spacers all around when I ordered my tractor. My dealer called LS, no problem with warranty, is what he was told. I added the spacers to match bed shaper, mulcher widths and the added stability is nice too.
