Ok, was just throwing it out there... Although might be worth checking on actual dealer prices, just in case. Some Massey dealers will sell close to invoice (my local Massey/Kioti dealer is one such) and might still be within reach.

Nothing wrong with Kioti tho, they build a good machine.

The MF is a super nice tractor. I couldn't get even close in price when I was shopping years ago. If I could have, I would have owned one.

Just finished talking to my bank and to the dealership. Looks like the CK2610 in the TLB set-up list for just over $27,000! Not to bad, considering looking at any other brand in the same area with the same FEL and BH size all list for $25-28k.

Now, that is list, I'm not paying list. Final out the door price is $21,500 for two remotes installed and TLB set-up. Which is kind of funny, BX25D-1 was going to be $19,500 out the door and the Mahindra Max26xl was going to be $20,900 and LS 3038 was going to be $24,500. Now I know these are different size tractors in different classes. My point is, smaller less equipped tractors actually cost more or about the same as this larger one. The only one that was noticeably cheaper was the GC1720 for $18,000.

I know the CK2610 has a smaller motor or de-tuned motor.......BUT....it has a much larger FEL and much larger BH with a lot more capacity and capabilities that the smaller ones that were about the same price.

I am thankful for this forum! I never would of looked at a Kioti without reading TBN!

I'm hoping all goes well with the bank and sometime this week I will have pictures of the new machine in my driveway preparing to dig up some stumps and remove rocks from the driveway!

:D

I think that's an excellent deal on the Kioti. Sounds exactly like my reasoning: size & hydraulics more important than PTO HP. You'll be happy with it. Just don't expect it to jerk giant tree trunks out of the ground. I first used mine to extract a 2' diameter Norway maple tree (extracted stump was closer to 6' in diameter). Took many hours and the hole when I finally got it out was about 16' in diameter (see why reach is king). After that, I realized that stumps like that are really too big for anything under 70 HP. I've removed many smaller ones over the years though with ease. The trick is to leave the trunk tall (~6'). But, big rooty tree stumps are best ground down away or hired out to bigger equipment. There were actually 2 big maple stumps that needed removing. I left the second one to a big CAT excavator (car sized bucket). What took me probably about 20 hours, it did in about 5 minutes. size matters in this case. :)

Congrats and be safe. Post photos!

Nice posting and congrats on the new Kioti ! I bought a 2012 CK27 last june...only had 194 hrs. We live in the Cherokee National Forest near Tellico Plains so a small compact machine was needed to go in and around the trees ! We moved down from Illinois so i had to find a dealer close by. I use Homestead tractor in Cleveland,TN. Very nice Kioti/JD dealer. Now have fun digging dirt !!

Yeah funny how the smaller machines with the crowded operator stations cost just as much as the big boys? The smaller framed 2510's are nice, but so much less tractor for close to the same price.

This forum helped greatly in recommending Kioti, they really are a great value.

I haven't purchased one yet but I agree. I went looking for a 2510 and then saw the 2610 at less than 1k difference. Seriously looking at the 2610 now.

If you think about it, the only real difference between these tractors is the amount of metal and different sized tires. The labor and energy to produce and transport them is pretty much the same from 20-50hp. The Kioti DK and now NX series are notorious for baloney pricing. The DK40 is literally identical to the DK45 and DK50 except for stroke and bore of the same engine block. Pricing however comes in $2000 increments. The NX is even worse. There is virtually no difference other than engine software between the NX4510, 5010, 5510 and yet pricing varies by even more than $2K last time I checked for each 5hp increment. I think the NX6010 has bigger tires but the same engine as the others and costs even more.

So am I making the right choice with the CK2610?
