Delivery was April 6, already at 52hrs. Completed 8hr oil and filter change on April 9 and replaced hydraulic filters on April 29. Wish that hydraulic oil had some tint in it, almost impossible to see in sight tube.
As a brief evaluation most hrs have been mowing with the 72" side discharge deck with mulch kit installed. Plenty of rain here in mid Missouri so mowing is about every 4-5 days and about 10 acres. So far everything has performed flawlessly and the cut quality is the best I've ever had. I have sharpened blades once already and replaced 1 blade. The RH blade was bent (not sure how that happened), deck was a demo unit so maybe bent when I got it. I have also been trimming trees and removing brush in some areas with the power bucket and grapple. I was really surprised as to how well limbs and brush can be cleaned up and transported to a brush pile while never leaving the drivers seat. I have dual wheels which if I were using the bucket/grapple extensively I would remove the front dual wheel because any trailing brush from the bucket gets run over by the outside wheel and pulled out of the bucket. If the outside wheel were to be removed the bucket width would then exceed the wheel width and I believe would solve that issue. I also enjoy the flip up deck feature since i scrape the deck after every mowing and grease the spindles also. Since i mow acreage, I sharpen or change blades frequently and the flip up feature is immensely appreciated (Thanks Ventrac). Only change I have made so far was replace the adjusting bolts on the armrests to raise them up higher. When I sat in the seat my weight would cause the seat to sink low enough that the armrest would hit the secondary SDLA lever when reversing. I could probably solved that by adjusting seat to firmer setting but found the ride a little harsh. Anyway all is good and I'am enjoying the Ventrac life so far. Good day to all.
