Thinking about a John Deere Ground Driven Spreader MS11G Anyone own/use one?

I have access to free Horse Manure from a neighbor and would have to go over and pick it up and dont want the hassle of pto as I would need to load it with my tractor. any help from the brain trust/hive mind much appreciated.

when I bought my 2320 several years ago I got a JD ground drive spreader .it would not spread manure that was bedded with hay until it was well composted horse apples with a little hay/straw might be ok. traded it back to dealer for a DRbrush cutter.

I woulden't mess with a ground driven spreader they are obsolete technology.
Shop around for a used PTO spreader, you won't be disappointed.

BTW, horse manure is not the best of fertilizer due to un digested weed seeds.
