Or drivers on 2-lane busy highways that don't use cruise control. Constantly varying speed.

Without cruise control their foot position is changing with the ebb and flow of their cell phone conversation. LOL!

I hate those that pass on the right using the on ramp.

You know - talking about all this cell phone & texting use. I just wonder how us old guys survived until today without all these modern devices.

When I first started driving there was no such thing as a cell phone - no texting - no bluetooth - no dashboard GPS. Yet somehow we made it.

It just might be that we spent a little more time concentrating on our driving.

Because busy 2-lane roads also have a Flow Rate and sume dumb SOB varying speed screws it up.

Some people don't know when to change lanes either. This seems like s case of being distracted.

That's in agreement with the self-styled "experts" and I don't really know of any empirical evidence either way. But how many people drive a motor vehicle with a passenger, or passengers, and never speak to them or listen to them? I don't guess I see the difference between that and using the cell phone in a vehicle like I now have in which you touch one button on the steering wheel then everything is by voice; don't have to look at anything or do anything except talk and/or listen.

However, for me personally, it doesn't make a big difference because I don't use my cell phone in ANY way or anytime more than once every couple of months.:laughing: But I was taken by surprise and actually did receive a call on it while driving once this month, and I answered it . . . . . . wrong number!
