sweet trailer! I'm in the market. Assuming u have 4.10 grears like me, does this weight mean you have a carrying capacity of 6,620#s?
I do have the 4:10 gears in my truck, as far as the trailer goes they call it a 24k trailer, I assume they are considering pin weight as a factor in them rating it that high, this is what I consider it, the trailer has 2-10k super single axles with 17.5 tires, therefore I consider my carrying capacity to be somewhere around 13,000lbs. Will I put a little more than that on it when hauling hay out of the field, probably so.

Yup, they are expecting you to put 4~5 K on the pin when they rate your trailer. You will be limited by your trucks axle rating.

Our trucks are rated to tow a max of 14k lbs. your trailer is using up more than half that capacity empty?

Am I understanding right? If you trailer 13k you'll exceed your trucks capacity by around 6k, right?

Absolutely, I'm going to exceed the limit on my truck from my hayfield to the barn which is a little less than a 1/4 of a mile. There is a man who buys hay from me who comes about 70 miles and he has me stack 26 round rolls on his trailer and his truck is a Chevrolet 2500 HD a few years older than mine except his is a diesel and he makes the trip 4 or 5 times a year.

Right on... Yeah, I would t worry about that use case.

Plan on pulling your 5093e? Guessing that with loader and cutter is over 10k, plus trailer around 18k?

I'll gurantee it's over 18k if it has loaded tires. My 5083e is as well so... Thats alot of weight behind a 3/4t. The only thing that helps is the flatland of FL.

I would put it on the trailer and haul it if I need to, like to carry it to the shop to get it worked on or whatever, it does have loaded tires and a FEL so you are probably about right, I imagine it weighs in excess of 11k. Most of my hauling besides the work here on the farm will be me hauling my smaller tractor over to my hunting/fishing camp to mow and or push and clear, it's about 100 miles over there.

I imagine I am probably a little overloaded, but it pulled it and stopped it without a problem, I also decided to test the theory of not having a torque tube and completely loading one side, I did and it never flexed or budged that I could tell.
