My father's day gift.

Tell the wife that it is better to have a fetish for welders and tools than for the other alternatives that society seems to be going for these days. Tell her to count her stars; she is lucky.

Well I've never been tough enough to drink or smoke. So collecting welders, isn't all that bad I guess.

I wish I could weld as good as you on your worst day...
Gosh you can lay down a nice bead...
On the farm we were not concerned with the look as much as the strength...
I've gotten better over the years and now do OK...
I worked at Duke Power back in the 70's during the summer on construction at McGuire...
I was with a pipe hanger crew...
Those welders were really something else...
Being a nuclear station every weld was inspected...
Those guys could lay down a bead using a mirror wrapped around a pipe...
They were really good and paid well...

Nah, you actually USE 'em. I've got three welders and I don't even weld!
