Hill the son of James Jerome Hill was the founder of Glacier Park and he had the main lodge there built and as a result created a thriving tourist business for the Great Northern passenger rail business while he was the chairman of the board of the Great Northern Railroad.

No actually dick the best snow blower/snow clearer is the single 88 ton self propelled phantom Beilhack HB1600S climbing Donner Pass in a snow storm forcing the 4 so called rotary plow trains of the UPRR used to keep the mountain clear to jump off the tracks leave thier wheel sets aside grow legs and run down the mountain screaming like bunch of 6 year old girls. :cool2:

Yes I am partial as one HB 1600S with two operators and two track laborers can keep the mountain open more efficiently than four plow trains running with two flanger plow trains

Hello Piston,

Not yet anyway. they would need a third valve to rotate the drum cylinder, and the smaller mules do not have three sets of remotes unless its offered as an option. The hydraulics for a 1. rear scraper and the 2. spout rotation and 3. spout angle for most larger mules take up everything as far as hydraulic power goes with a possible diverter valve in liu of a third valve.

Hello Piston,


The short answer is that it would cost you less money to invest in a used/rebuilt Pronovost motorized snow caster that you can mount to the bucket of your backhoe provided it has the hoisting capacity as it is too much money to reverse engineer the current TRC's.

I just don't want it mounted on the front.
I think the pull behind would be best, but found a good dealt on a 7' TRC. I'll hold off till after it snows this winter and I realized I procrastinated too long.
