Nice Tractor...!!!!! :) You are really going to enjoy those forks, one of the handiest attachments you can buy...

Shiny - looks great! The first scratch is the hardest. :p Then after a while you'll just run it hard and put it away wet... And it will take the abuse and ask for more!

I'd be interested in real world loader performance stats with those forks. I know it will be reduced due to the forward placement of the pallet weight, and I'm curious if you can still get a half ton or more up in the air easily? I have been more than impressed with the size of trees that I can move with the grapple, but have not done any actual specific load testing.

Enjoy your new machine!

1/2 ton 4' from the pins is tough, having weight CG closer will be no problem.
I have the 1526 bucket curl cylinders on my Max28 and it will lift +600lbs @ 4' from pins. The stock cylinders barely did 400 Lbs.

I removed my SSQ qa bucket on my 3016, and put on the qa forks and had no issue at all lifting 10 94 lb (940lbs) bags of cement on a pallet. I have no doubt I could put on a couple more. The fork unit itself is about 300 lbs.

I think my fel is rated at 1640 lbs on the pin at full height. I'd be surprised if the 2500 series tractor is less capable.

I do not know.

Yes, I think it's the same engine that my 1538 has and it does have an OBDII compliant port. I've used my own code scanner to read and reset codes as well as read some of the parameters like engine coolant temp etc. My guess is that all Mahindra tier 4 engines have OBDII ports. It pays to buy a scanner. It will work for most cars and trucks too.

I think I am going to look into a set of rear forks to see if I can lift a ton of pellets. Sure would be handy.

Thanks for info. That is a healthy amount of loader capacity when using pallets/forks considering these are small to midsize CUTs. The 2538 has essentially the same loader rating as your 3016.
