Every gun owner in the communist states pertaining to gun laws should just move south.

Sooner or later, the South will rise again, and the next time around, industrialization isn't going to help the North.

Lived on Cape Cod for some time as a child. Just like New York, although a nice place to visit, you couldn't pay me a ten million dollar a year salary to work there (unless I could telecommute lol).

The Ma "assault weapons ban" was written and passed by the legislature, using the same wording of the federal 1994 'ban'. This was done in case the fed law expired, which it did. Since 1994, the Ma govt has been following that law.

Now the AG has decided, unilaterally, that the law also includes other firearms that are not specifically mentioned in that law. She issued an edict, on her own, banning these firearms. The edict is so vague that it can actually mean that all semiauto firearms are illegal. She also said that she will not come after those guns that are already in the hands of residents....... as if we can believe that.

She has decided on her own, to modify a law that has been on the books for 18 years. This is a big problem for everyone. If it can be done in Ma for guns, it can be done for anything, anywhere.
The rally in Boston today was a large event, some news media reported 'several' thousand people showed up.

Boston PD estimated >5K , that's a heck of a turnout!

I think the Attorney General of Mass. should be given a fair trail, followed by a first class hanging.

The head of our largest advocate organization, the Gun Owners Action League (GOAL), stood on the steps of the State House and said, "The Freedom Trail starts here", pointing to a line on the ground that takes you to historical sites around the city. Then he turned around pointed at the State House and said, ".... and ends here".

It's ironic that this country of ours STARTED here and we have to deal with this.

The Constitution places limits on the federal government. The states can do what they want.

This situation aside, I support States Rights over Federal oversight. But I am a small government advocate.
