Thanks for pointing that out. I just assumed bulk would be cheaper...

And you can refill the jugs with water and they make excellent targets for rifle or pistol. :)

I have used windshield washer fluid and it works great and is a lot cheaper than RV antifreeze. Certain times of the year it can be had for a little over a buck a gallon.

Menards has Splash -20 for $1.69 a gal.. I just bought 124 gals with an 11% rebate, so $1.50 in the end.

-20 wwf is actually better in colder climates for freeze protection as at the -20 the wwf is still liquid. -50 RV antifreeze will be mostly slush if not already frozen at -20, as that '-50' is 'burst protection', not the freeze point.

And Rural King has Camco wwf for $1.59 if thats where you shop: Camco Windshield Washer Fluid : Rural King

Read the labels before buying if you want a specific chemical. WWF is Methanol. Splash RV fluid is made with several different formulas. Some is Propylene Glycol and some is Ethanol.

Down here there's little or no chance of freezing so some guys put in a gallon of antifreeze (~$12) for rust protection and fill the rest with rain water. I thought about doing that but I don't really need the ballast or LCG. Plain ole air is heavy enough in a 13.9x28 tire. :)

I contacted the local farm supply place about drums. He said he can get drums, but he also offered a case price of gallons that came out to $1.97 per jug. So that is not much more than the WWF. And has the advantage of corrosion protection additives along with less environmental risks... I'm going that route.
